On Mario Balotelli’s 2nd debut match as a player of Ac.Milan he scored a goal when his team faced off against Mantova in a friendly game. In 2 matches with Ac.Milan, Balotelli has already scored as many goals as he did for Liverpool in the entire past season.
Even though this goal has given Balotelli a positive start to his return to Ac.Milan, the manager of the Italian club stated that the player who is on a season loan deal still has a few things to do which he needs to fulfill before becoming a consistent starter for the team.
The 46 year old Serbian manager of Ac.Milan, Siniša Mihajlović said that Mario Balotelli still isn’t ready to play for an entire match as he is overweight and will have to work on his fitness.
Ac.Milan’s Siniša Mihajlović said: “He has not played for a while and he still has to improve. He is training well and his physical tests are satisfactory, but he is three kilograms overweight; he is on a diet and when he is ready he will play. ‘I’m not talking about anyone in particular but about everyone. Balotelli? We played against a Serie C side. He is not in good shape and has to improve, just like all the others, otherwise he won’t play’’
Mario Balotelli scored at the 3rd minute of Ac.Milan’s friendly match against Mantova but Siniša Mihajlović said that the Italian player still needs to improve and the Serbian manager is indeed expecting to see Balotelli performing better.
After having completed his return to Ac.Milan, Balotelli was praised by the CEO of Ac.Milan Adriano Galliani as he said that the former Inter Milan player was a changed man who had a different attitude but the problems still continue to arrive as Balotelli has now recently been involved in a problem with Italian officials after he was caught speeding.
Balotelli was able to avoid getting fined but he might face consequences with Ac.Milan as officials of the Italian club are believed to be looking into his contract and see if he broke any rules that were established after joining Ac.Milan.
If the 25 year old player truly wants to spark his career back to life, he needs to avoid going through these types of things as Siniša Mihajlović is a rigorous manager who is not afraid to leave Balotelli on the sidelines.
